Dad:  Many years passed and you have lived here in Enid since about 1909 I would say approximately.  And lived in several places.  But this place here you lived in the longest.  You lived here ever since the time I started in high school,  GM:  You mean right here.  Dad:  Aha.  Right here.  GM:  We used to live in the brick house.  Dad:  Aha.  GM:  And I don't remember I guess you were going to high school when we lived in the brick house.  Dad:  I guess so.  Anyway it must have been about 1914, 15 somewhere in ther that we moved to here don't you think so.  GM:  How long has that been.  Dad:  Well thats a long time.  1915 it would be almost 50 yrs. now.  So it must be close to 48 yrs. that you have lived here.  GM:  Seems to me like 1922 or something like that when we borrowed the money to    Dad:  Oh no,  GM:  To fix the house.  Dad:  Well to fix the house up.  I was thinking about when we bought it.  I remember when we bought I was in high school, I guess I must have been in my freshman yr. and you came down and I came out of school to write a check.  I had been working at the ice plant and had some money saved up you know    GM:  You had to pay down.  Dad:  I paid $100 down on the place and $25 for the rug I believe.  GM:  For the rug.  Dad:  Aha.  GM:  Well did you have to pay for the rug too.  Dad:  Aha.  GM:  I didn't remember that.  Dad:  Yeah I remember that $25 for the rug.  GM:  I remember we payed $25 for the rug but I didn't remember that you did it.  You probably did though.
