Hamburger Helper – Home-Style

Ingredients

  • 0.75 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 0.25 cup peas, frozen or canned
  • 0.6666666666666666 cup tomatoes, fresh or canned, chopped
  • 1 cup noodles, crinkly
  • 0.66666 cup cheese(colby jack or sharp), shredded

Instructions

Brown ground beef in a skillet with salt and pepper.

Add onion, celery, peas, and tomatoes.

While beef is browning, cook noodles in salted water.

Drain noodles and spread over meat mixture.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes to blend flavors.

Serve from skillet.

Notes

  1. Can substitute 1/3 cup grated parmesean cheese for colby or sharp cheese.
