
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Fill a small cake pan (8 x 10) or (9 x 13) 1/2 full of sliced peeled apples (3 lb bag approximately).
Cover with 1 cup sugar and cinnamon as desired. I mix above apples, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl before putting in cake pan.
Mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter--work together until it crumbles like a pie crust mix.
Add to top of pie crust mixture--spread on top.
Bake for 40-50 minutes.
