Scalloped Oysters

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 pint oysters, drained
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 0.25 cup celery, diced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, minced
  • 0.6666666666666666 cup milk

Instructions

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix dry bread crumbs or cracker (Ritz) crumbs with melted butter.

Spread 1/3 of crumbs in greased baking dish.

Arrange over crumbs in 2 layers: oysters, salt, pepper, celery, parsley and 2/3 cup liquid (oyster or milk).

Top layer will be crumbs.

Bake 30 min.
