Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 0.5 cup oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 5.25 cups flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

Cream sugar and margarine. Add well beaten eggs.

Mix in oil and vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients and work into sugar mixture.

Roll into small balls.

Dip in granulated sugar mixed with nutmeg.

Press flat with a glass and fork.

No need to grease pan.

Bake at 350° for 13 to 15 minutes.
