Budapest Beef Goulash

Ingredients

  • 0.75 cup oil
  • 1.5 pounds onions, coarsely chopped (about 4 cups)
  • 1.5 pounds beef, cubed
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, sweet

Instructions

Saute onions.

Add beef.

Add remaining ingredients. Simmer slowly till tender (1 1/2 - 2 hours).

Usually served over noodles.
