Mayonaise Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 cup cocoa
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, water, sugar, flour, baking soda, cocoa, and salt. Beat until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool completely before frosting.
