I just found out that I have been accepted into my school's civilizations abroad program in Pune, India. I'll be there from late September until early December learning about the region's culture and history, traveling around the country, and learning some Hindi. I'm very very excited and happy! it'll be a lot of fun and i'll be sure to take lots of photos.

someone from my school emailed this out. i thought i'd pass it on. very interesting. and have to respect him for doing it to Abbey Road.

Just to keep things "fair and balanced" here is the puff piece on 'Nova that appeared The Paper of Record today. ""'Nova wins; Ho Hum""

All you Syracuse alumni--you know who you are--should be aware of the recent exciting developments at the Big East tournament in NYC. I beleive that Georgetown is the next victim, tonite. "Nova is in the other bracket, so I don't think 'Cuse and 'nova will meet until the final, but I could be wrong. Anyway, here is the article from the NYT. I will try to post the articcle about Nova in a few minutes. ""'Cuse upsets Huskies""

I applaud Jim for taking the time to add songs and audio files to the site. But, I do not believe that these audio files should be made available to the public (especially for download). Accordingly, I have removed them from listing on the front page and redesignated them for family only (as opposed to the public). If you are logged in, you can still find them under "audio files." As a practical matter, this means that anyone surfiing the web will not see the songs and will not be able to download them.

Tommy competed in his first weightlifting tournament last Saturday at Ballston Spa and squatted carrying 325 lbs. Way to go Tommy!
